Using the single blade of grass that`s across the foward right leg as a reference point, where would you place your shot??
This is a big boar. What bullet?

I don't know hogs from dogs, but if within 25 yards I'm gonna try to put it in his ear. Otherwise slightly ahead of the Y of his front legs and about halfway up the bod with a 325 XTP from 480R SRH.

If I know I am going HOG hunting I might load up some 400's, but all I got is 325's.

Right behind the ear! Works everytime. Don't have to track them that way.

James, I would say 2" up and 2" back from the end of the grass. 44mag 300gr wfngc at 1325 fps out of a ruger sbhh and I'd wait until he took one more step..

I'm a fan of the head shot also. If I wanted to shoot in the body it would be about Two inches directly behind the tip of that blade of grass. Probably a 300 gr wnfp. The base of the ear really is the money shot on hogs regardless of how big they are. 22 mag on up will do it.
