What would be your preference for an Encore 454 Casull - Leupold 2x, 2x or 2.5-8x?

Sorry..that was 2x, 4x or 2.5-8x Leupold for shots under 150 yds.

On my revolver i find that 2x for tree squirrels is not to bad,but if i'm shooting at ground squirrels and p-dogs i like to have 4x and up.
