My wonderful girlfriend got me a new taurus 941 4" 22 magnum for christmas. first of all I have to say is how much I love this gun. I had never owned a taurus and have only had ruger revolvers previously. I had heard mixed reviews about taurus in the past so I didnt know what to expect. The fit and finish of this gun is absoutly exellent. It has bulk and heft and just feels well made. it is also very accurate and a perfect hunting pistol for squirrels. I absoutly love it. Well I couldnt wait to try it out on a squirrel. Finally I got the chance. I spotted a big fox squirrel through the woods about 70 yards away. I slowely stalked up towards it. I saw that it was on the ground eating a cob of corn. I closed the distance to within 35 yards. I had one last tree to get to before i took the shot. I got on my hands and knees and crawled the last few yards. all of a sudden the squirrel heard something and bolted up a nearby tree. I quickly got behind the tree I was crawling to. the squirrel looked around, decided there was nothing wrong, then when down and continued eating its corn cob. at 32 yards I steadied the sights right on its shoulder and slowely squeezed the trigger, at the report of the gun the squirrel simply slumped over stone dead. I had made a perfect shot on it. I was so proud of it. I can not wait to go out again and get a few more this is wonderful 22 mag. enjoy SS

Awesome story. That's why we hunt with handguns - can't imagine anything else with that kind of satisfaction and excitement and it was just a squirrel (no disrespect meant to squirrels). I love hunting them and they are on the agenda for this weekend.

Great job! Squirrels and rabbits are my favorite to hunt in late winter. Lots of shot opportunities and dont have to worry about scent control:)

A successful 32 yard shot on a squirrel with a 4" barrel is excellent. Congratulations ... on the shot, the gun, and the girlfriend.
