I have a chance to pick up a 1955 vintage K22 from a friend. For it's age it is in pretty good shape with just a bit of bluing wear near the muzzle. The question is, would it be worth $350.00? I shot it tonight in the basement @ about 10yds, and almost had a one hole group. It shoots good. Any one have any experience with the k22?
I picked one up in a trade this past spring after wanting one for many years. It is without a doubt the BEST 22 handgun I have now or have ever had. If I had a chance for one at that price I would not be asking about it, I would be posting pictures. They normally sell for a lot more than that.
I have 2 now and have had a total of 4 (all 17's)-- most I have paid was $400 with wood hogues in perfect shape least was $210--so $350 sounds about right
Great guns I love mine

If you don't buy it then you may want to consult me about my budget psychiatric services.
Admitting you have a problem is the first step.
