I took out the little 3.5" 44spcl and with 255gr WFNPB CP's using FA max data I'm getting 1050fps and showing no pressure signs so I may bump it up .5gr and see what happens and I might try the 265gr gas checked bullets. There is no primer flattening or deformation and extraction is easy. Here is pic of the gun except now it has nice cocobolo grips. I haven't done alot of accuracy testing with it yet but at 35yds I was holding groups at right around 3" off hand. It was origninally supposed to be a back up gun for my wife and it still is but I may have to whack something with it just for fun. I killed a doe last year with it using 200gr Nosler Sporting JSP but penetration wasn't that great for the range.

there is a better pic of the gun up to date at this link.

It seems like I'm the only one on this site that knows about External ballistics: The transonic problem.

That is the perfect speed, if the load proves inaccurate, try less powder. Faster isn't always better; especially when you are on the edge of transonic speed.
