I am looking to get a Bushnell scope. What is the difference between the Trophy XLT and the Elite 2x6 scopes other than $100.00 in cost.

Not really sure....but I've had my share of the Trophy models and NEVER had a problem.

The Elite scopes have the rainguard coating, FWIW.

One difference is constant eye relief throughout the magnification range, I believe. I know the Elite's have this feature. Not sure about the Trophy's.

They have the rainguard coating on the lenses, constant eye relief thru out the magnification and it WILL stand up to the recoil of the 454 and the 460

I think the Trophy is one of the best values in a handgun scope--I have had sveral and been very happy with all of them--I have used them since the Early 90's when the first came out.. It is not a Leupold or Burris but for the price point you will not find a better scope-- the only one that even comes close is the Weaver in that price range

I have 5 3200's and 2 Trophy's. The only difference I can tell is the outside hull. lol. I put my Trophy's on a 357 Max and 300 Whisper barrels and my 3200's on my big bores like my 35-06JDJ & 375 H&H AI. FWIW...

Thanks Worm! The rings and base came from
Jack Weigand

I've got the same setup on my 500 S&W except I had room for four rings with the Leupold 2X:
