Does the Second Ammendment rate first on your list when it comes to who you will elect for President? Or is the national debt ahead of it, or Social Security, borders, etc.???
Now keep it clean on this guys, and NO GETTIN MAD at someone else's comment or views!!! For me personally, the 2nd Ammendment is third on my priority list. First is National Security and our borders. Second is keeping marriage between a man and a woman.
That's just me personally though, and no, your not going to change my mind, so don't try. Don't ask me to explain myself, I don't need to. That's not what this is about. I am just curious how high on the list is the 2nd ammendment for those of us that use guns on a regular basis? I hope it is pretty high, but just curious...

My gun rights take priority ove all else. If we are disarmed all that other stuff won't matter.

I'm with the other Rod, the things you listed are high on my priority list too but there is a reason the founding fathers only put one amendment ahead of it and without the second amendment the first amendment has no teeth. I would say the borders and economy are second because if we don't stop the flow of illegals we'll keep dumping billions of dollars into taking care of them. As for national security I served under Reagan and in my lifetime which is only 43 years and 8 presidents he was the strongest Commander and Chief we ever had as well as the best friend the military ever had. Clinton gutted the military and Bush put part of it back together but we are headed down the wrong road. Our internal national security is already shot to hell because of the number of muslims we have here. I get tired of people saying "all of us come from immigrants", difference is my family came here as Germans and Englishman wanting to be Americans. The muslims on the other hand want to be muslims occupying American territory with their own communities and laws. We have to many bleeding hearts and no one with guts to throw them and the united nations out. I say put them all in a leaky boat out by the Farralone Islands which if you didn't know is great white territory. I also figure we should pull our troops and get rid of the smart bombs and go back to carpet bombing, those people will never be true friends and allies because we are "infidels" so smoke em all and let God sort em out. The little ones grow to be big ones and carry ak's so I have no feeling about that. Now would you like to know how I really feel.

The 2nd is my first priority, yes there are other issues of great importance but none greater than the 2nd because with out it they "politicians" would take the rest. Look at what they have already been allowed to do to this country, and from the inside out.

I think we might be barking up the wrong tree – the president can’t do squat, it’s the members of the House & Senate that make laws and it’s those two political bodies that we should worry about. A politician will say whatever he has to say to get elected (dems and repubs) – why even listen to them?
Do a little research into their past – that’s where you’ll find their character. A grown man rarely changes his beliefs and if a politician says he’s a changed man from when he was 25yoa – well, I for one will not give him the benefit of the doubt – he’s a loser in my book when it comes to someone that must be trusted to get things right.
Almost impossible to find a man running for Congress who is an avid hunter/fisherman, shooting enthusiast, fiscally conservative, a person who's word is his bond and a Veteran of our Armed Forces. You’re hard pressed to find one of those qualities in a politician today in either the State or Federal system.
The 2nd Amendment will be just fine, as long as we elect congressmen who believe in the Constitution, but as long as most continue to vote for the person who can deliver the “pork”, well it’s not looking good for the way of life that we once knew.

What you say is true, but the top hat has the power of the VETO and a veto is hard to override. So, if some unfavorable legislation should come through the house and senate it can be quashed at the top. I still want the top hat to be in my corner.
The health care tax is a perfect example, if the top hat was not behind that tax it would never have come to be. So it is of great importance to have all the bases covered.
An even more important factor to consider is that the President appoints Judges all across the country and the Supreme Court. Judges have become the end game in whether any legislation sees the light of day. We need to keep the high courts in our favor above all else.

I think I've found a kindred Spirit in Wapitirod, I could not agree more. And this coming from someone who served under Carter and Reagan. Reagan was a godsend after the idiot Carter. I never thought we would see worse in my lifetime but the current potus is as dangerous as they come to the American way of life. in my order; 2nd Amendment Military Strength Borders/national Security Jobs/debt

I would have to agree with the order of your list. I too had the pleasure of serving under Reagan, and it was a time of strength (militarily and economically) and pride. Boy do I miss those days. What we have now is a debacle.

That's putting it nicely, I can think of some other things to call it but the website would just censor all of them.
