My wife and I went to a local gun shop last night and I found a 14 inch 22 lr Contender barrel. I have wanted one of these for a while just never got one. My wife (great woman) said if I wanted it she would pay for it. Needless to say I now have the barrel. Trouble is after I put it on the gun I found out the part that moves the firing pin from rimfire to centerfire has been lost. Where can I find this part without sending it back to TC?

I took my Contender to Ed's in OKC this morning and he just happened to have the parts I needed. I got it home and it works great. A big pat on the back to Ed for taking care of another TC nut.

Ed's is the best in OK for TC's! Bar none.

You will like the 22LR barrel. You can now shoot lots of practice ammo without taking out a loan. I would set it up exactly like your centerfire hunting barrel.
The wife and I both have Contenders. I have a Super 14 barrel in 22 LF for both. They both have the same Burris 2-7 scopes as on the 6.5X30 JDJ, and 35 Bullberry barrels. All 4 barrels are set up exactly alike.

Setting up the barrels the same does help!

Nice barrel selections by the way.
