I just swapped for a 30-30 Contender this week and got it sighted in today and got to take it on its first hog hunt. I was very impressed with the accuracy, about 1" at 75 yds with factory 150gr. load. It is going to take some getting used to using a handgun scope though. The eye relief is a little to far for me.It will move up about 1/2" more which will make it about right. I need to change the rings to do this though. So far no regrets getting rid of my wheelgun! Maybe tomorrow we will draw first blood!
