We returned from the Sunshine state for a long deserved vacation. While down there Dad and I did some hunting at a ranch north of Lake Okeechobee. This was special as it was Dad's first hunt. He used an H&R 12 guage slug gun while I used a muzzleloading barrel on my TC Contender.
We had a great time. The biggest downside to our Florida trip was that it was below normal regarding the temperatures. In fact when we left Melboure there was some frost on the vehicle roof.Dad and I are talking about making another trip next year or so. This will be a tad different in that we'll look at another place and we'll take the meat grinder and vaccuum sealer down with us.
