I got to go out to the range this afternoon with my 308 Win. I got the barrel back from Ross Schuler this week. He installed a brake on it for me. Temp. was 89 degrees so shooting a "cool" barrel was out of the question.
First group was 4 shots at 100yds.

Second group with the same load opened up a bit. On a day like today, once your barrel is hot, it won't get cool....

I am very pleased with this barrel setup. The Burris 3x-12x is awesome.

Great shoot'n! Looks like the brake payed off.

The brake made a world of difference. NO muzzle lift. Just a slight push rearwards. I didn't like to shoot the barrel before. It's GREAT to shoot now.
