This is going. 1928 Lefever. The right side firing pin broke. I removed the right side fire group. I order a pin that wasn't supposed to be here till today. I showed up early but I had already put it back together. While I had it in my hand I got all the measurements on the pin and started building one last night. I will keep a spare or two.

Wait a minute!!

How are you going to kill a turkey with that gun? It's not camo, only holds two rounds and there's no place for a red dot or high speed sighting system...

Nice on both birds! Saw your other post with your more recent bird as well.

We don't start here until the 20th. Not even sure about that with everything going on.

Turkey hunting is a disease. It can make you spend more money than any other hunting I know of. I can't just turkey hunt. It led to call collecting, shotgun collecting and the list never ends. I have some calls that are in the 4 digit price range. It just happens.

yep can get really expensive like all hunting if you let it. I have tried to go the other way with all of my hunting but, technology and comfort seem to creep back in. I think everyone can be guilty of that. (trying to justify
;\)
) maybe this year i can go without the bells and whistles.
