Looking for a nice grip for my friends S&W Model 29 .44 mag. Any recommendations?? By the way the gun is a shooter!

For hunting and general functionality I prefer the Pachmyer gripper style grips or the Hogue rubber grips. Far superior to wood for field use especially when wet or when wearing gloves.

I have Hogue rubber finger groove grips on my 629 four inch. I've shot it a lot and have no complaints.

They cost a little more but these Herrett grips help controlling my model 29 in recoil...
