I?d like to try the Bisley grips for my new BFR based on the recommendation of Whitworth and Tradmark. However, I really don?t want to spend $160 on the ones from Magnum Research without knowing for sure if I like them.

Does anyone know if replacement grips for a Ruger SBH will fit? About a 1/3 of the cost.

Thanks.

Hey Randy. I'm not sure what you want to do, but if you want to try a BFR Bisley gripframe and grips on your BFR, I'll send you my BFR Bisley gripframe and grips to try. Try them for a week and send them back. Interested?

$160.00 is a pittance when you consider what you are getting. Custom grips will cost you more than double that on the very low side. The Ruger Bisley is a completely different animal and there is no interchangeability.

Maybe you should try one of our Bisley equipped BFRs before making the decision.

I wanna try a BFR.

I don't know of any local to me. I know my way around a Ruger Super Blackhawk grip, but aren't the BFRs standard grip subtly different?

You guys rave on the BFR Bisley, but I would need to handle one to get past the banana look.

I'm heading to my lease this Friday. Let me know if you'll be at yours.

The grip frame and panels fitted to your gun is $389.00. It's worth every penny in my estimation.

I know they're unusual looking, buy when recoil gets to abusive levels, this grip frame flat-out works better than anything else I've used out of the box. The only better option is Huntington's grip modification to the standard plow-handle and the custom grips that come with it.
