Randy, the only thing I see wrong with your hat is - it's not black.

Rod, I am shooting a all lead hollow point that is 240 gr. It kicks some but does not bother me. I have killed (5) deer with it in the last three deer seasons here in North Carolina. Try it I really think you will like it. I have it sighted dead on at 100 yards.

What are you NY'ers taking in the woods for opening day??

I haven't decided whether to bring my T/C Encore in 7mm-08 or my SBH with Leupold 2X on it.

Rob, I"m bringing my new Freedom, and a single shot, not sure Encore or Contender for a long shot.

Go ahead and make fun of my hat. All my 'buddies' have done so already...hehe.

Your hat is fine, killing hats have many different styles.

He?s a Cull Buck. But, my first with a gun I?ve wanted since the early 80s and finally acquired.

104yrd shot dropped him on the spot with the .35 Remington Dominator and 158gr Hornady XTP.

I'll spot you New York boys a couple of days, gotta take momma to Lehigh University in PA to spend the weekend with our daughter and son in law and 6 month old grandson. -Are you kidding?- you gotta do what you gotta do?- hopefully that buys me a reprieve for the remainder of the season.I'lll be carrying an encore 7-08 and backing it up with a redhawk in 44mag.
