Most accurate 22 revolver --- clearly FA, but they are expensive. Otherwise, I have a Colt DA (model # escapes me & I am at the office) and a S&W 617 that shoot about alike. Neither is quite up to the semis, if one is shooting groups off the bench.

Soon as taxes come back, can't beat the price. Have my heart set on a singlesix hunter but i can darn near by two mp-22s for the cost of one Hunter. Got scopes and every thing i need to build it up laying around. Only drawback is .22mag only and i'm mostly a revolver dude but i let the wardens Buckmark grow on me, cept when it shaves the skin off the top of my thumb knuckle. I'll keep updates coming.

I have shot a couple of 617's that shot real well. Other than that it's been autos. The browning does seem to have a little better trigger and the rugers seem to be a little more accurate on average. I have people tell me about single sixes that will shoot tiny groups but I haven't personally been there to see it happen. I have shot several that shot in the 3's at 25 yards and one or two that shot around 2 inches.

I have a couple of single six's , the accuracy is ok, if I want to drive tacks I break out the buckmark, it shoots very accurate out to 100 yards. The Ruger MK auto I'm sure would do the same.

I would love to get one of the MK's to hunt squirrels and rabbit with...too bad it's illegal in PA to hunt with a semiauto.

We can't hunt with autoloaders in Pa.

They're expensive, but worth saving for!

I owned a single-six once that would shoot 1/2" groups at 25 yards. It had a 9 1/2" barrel and interchangeable cylinders. I hunted with it for 10 years and kill more squirrels than I can remember. Although I never fired the 22mag, the 22lr was very accurate! Wish I hadn't traded it....
