Ok so I dont know much about spear gunning for fish. How leathal is a spear gun on something like a SHARK?! I mean deer might live for a minute or two after a well placed shot. Is the spear gun the same way?
I was wondering the same. Not sure if the show is still on the Outdoor channel, but Michael Bane did produce a Speargun Hunter show. Very cool, but even thse smaller fish would sometimes give the shootee a run for their money. It did seem like a good spine or head shot worked like a dry gun, but something less lethal could turn into a real "drag", quite literally.
No scopes, one handed shooting, gets my vote for a handgun ;^) And if it goes badly, the MN will have a post for the ongoing Dangerous Game thread.....
