HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Front sight to the face!!! SBHunter I do almost the same as Rod. The only exception being that I dont put my weak hand index finger on the trigger guard. I have tried it but I find that I tend to pull my shots to the left when I do this. Also I find it uncomfortable. However I know a great many people that do exactly as Rod said.

As a fellow newbie I've found myself working through much of the same dilemma as of late. I'm finding myself settling into a version of the combat grip pioneered by IPSC masters Brian Enos and Robbie Leatham.

It seems somewhat similar to the grip used by those who've shot PPC, but like tracker77, I can't put my weak hand index finger on the front of the trigger guard. Too awkward and I have a tendency to steer the gun too much that way.

good shootin,
Rod
