Thought this would be a just for fun/informative topic.

What kind of scope covers do you or have you used. Pros and cons. Likes and dislikes.
The only ones I've personally used are the caps that pop open with the push of a button. A little noisy in close quarters but overall, I like them.

That's what I use, just on the occular lens though as that is the one that is exposed to the snow and debris when carrying.

My XP-100 .308's 4X Leupold has threaded Alumicovers. They are removed in the blind. They are fine for that kind of hunting but would be impracticle for still hunting.

I don't use them. I hunt iron sights in the rain, makes it easier.

I have the flip covers on my SRH. My hunting rifles either use the bikini style covers, no no covers at all. The rifle covers usually end up getting lost halfway through the season and not found till mid summer.

I use Butler Creek scope covers for nearly 90% of my scoped revolvers, single shots and yes, rifles, too. Keeps them clean and dry, regardless of conditions, and easy to deploy when you need to shoot.

Have one set of the Leupold Alumina magnetic covers on one rig as well. Nice, but $$$.

Butler creek here as well on the rifles.

My SBHH wears one of the bikini covers that come with the Ultradot. I normally take it off and leave it in the case when I head out in the morning and put it back on in the evening. Shoulder holster keeps most of the rain and crap off the lens during the day.

I use bikini rubber covers if i need anything at all, I don't like the flip open covers on my handguns, they seem to affect the FOV.
