Ok....so I'm working from home today. I've got the personal laptop on the right and work laptop on the left (tethered to my BB). The PLT is MUCH faster on my wireless than the tethered WLT. So, while waiting for screens to load I can bounce around the interweb on the PLT....which is NOT good. Especially since I'm jonesing for a SS short barreled Bisley w/ smooth cylinder.

This is why I like working in the field doing projects daily...keeps me away from temptations!

Argh....life is tough.

I work for PennDOT as basically a traveling auditor though my title is Financial Consultant. My territory encompasses a 14 county area with 496 local governments within those counties. It keeps me hopping yet allows for very flexible scheduling since my daily travels and work involve only myself and whoever I'm working on that particular day. Today my daughter is sick and Cindy had some part time work she could take so I stayed home to process reports...this is sort of my tax season.

Those local govt's get money from a state gas tax to fund their road maintenance and improvement projects. I'm in charge of making sure they get paid when the proper hoops are jumped through....reports filed and funds spent in accordance with the Liquid Fuels Tax Act. I also assist with planning and bidding road repairs, buying equipment and trouble shooting budgets.

Been doing this about ten years...travel daily, never in an office, work provides a car and only see my boss about once or twice a year!

Hey now.....I don't work on those crews. I'm a semi-white collar guy. So if they are leaning on a shovel, I make sure they are leaning at the correct angle so as not to get hurt!

A little Bisley seems like a great idea. I don't see what you are getting all worked up for.

Because I don't want to spend the money right now!

After the range time the other day the itch for something new has subsided...especially after seeing some prices!! The RBH .45LC and DGW RBH .41M were shooting very good and I need to spend more time with them to hone my skills before getting something else. Also have a Super BH 7.5" .44M that I need to spend more time with...that would be nice gun to shorten and matte black, maybe do a Bisley conversion. Hhmmm.....

Did all Super BH's have the smooth cylinder? All three of mine do and I didn't know if this was standard or an option.
