there are a few guys using 10MM Glocks, 1911 45ACP/460Rowland, and of course the DE 44mag and 50AE although I did take this trophy with my Glock 22 40S&W with 135 Federal HydraShocks. The first round was 40yds going away from me and I removed his twig from his berries, that turned him broadside and I dropped him. I killed another one a couple days later but didn't get any pics

I guess this counts.

Ruger 10-22 (PRE-Charger era, ie. years before Ruger brought out the factory Charger) with custom barrel and stock. Prairie dog with .22 LR Hollow Point.



This photo of ground squirrels (ie. picket pins out West here) taken with a Kimber 1911 in .17 Mach 2 was featured in my article in the second issue of Gary's magnificent hard copy print of Handgun Hunter Magazine.

I shot a groundhog with a smith and wesson M&P 45 c.... but that was more out of necessity than hunting :-)

I mainly use autos for small game and varmints, but I did have a LAR Grizzly in 45 win mag that I shot several deer and a bear with.

This is my Springfield 45
