Whitworth,

What did you use in your third picture from the top? I do not recognize it...

That is an SBH that I borrowed from 430man. It's the gun he won Ohio state IHMSA with in 1983 -- it's very accurate. It was loaded with 300 grain XTPs.

It definitely does, but it's so accurate and smooth, it's hard not to like it!

Any suggestions of places you have had experience with?

The two places we talked about are huge in size and the hogs ARE wild and they can and will hurt you. You can be there for days and never see the same tree twice. Any fences on the properties are there more to define the boundaries rather than to contain animals. They are free to come and go.

The hunts are not a gimme by any stretch however they breed like flies and can make for a target rich environment and if you don't do your part you gonna get skunked.

Wearing a sexy Miss Piggy outfit may increase you odds dramatically.

Yeah those didn't sound bad, just was wondering if I could find anything closer.

And the Miss piggy outfit...haha...can I borrow yours? I saw some of the boars you've killed and you had to have something nice on to convince those things to come your way :-)

SBHunter -- call Hog Heaven, and talk to them. It's a good outfit and a good time.

Yeah, standing in line freezing my tail off was always a drag. Finally got smart and started arriving noonish and walked right in.
