One of my new projects

I just bought this 1974 new model Blackhawk with a Bueller mount and pre-adjustable 2x Leupold. It is old and loose but solid. I wish it could talk! Already have parts coming to rejuvenate it. I can't wait to see how it turns out. It will be neat to have an old school hunting rig.

Nice gun.
Something very cool about an old school setup.

Yes it should. I worked on one of these before and managed a 1.5" group at 100 yards. Hoping to see the same thing from this one except I am keeping it.

What all do you plan to do to this project gun?

Re: One of my new projects

Gas shield shims, Belt mountain locking base pin, trigger job, free spin pawl, super blackhawk hammer, pull the scope mount, clean up the screw heads and check for square mounting, mic and replace the the locking bolt if needed and what ever else looks suspicious. I may switch the scope to a Weaver 2.5x8 variable for use sake. I will post some pics of the initial exam that I did.
